Pie In the Sky Pizza in Mooresville

I used to eat a whole large pizza 14 years back and past 6 years I can eat only one or 2 slices at any other place. I am back to eating a whole large pizza from pie in the sky, it’s so good . Don’t worry I work out double the calories 😋

If you're starving and stuck on line at the DMV across the hall (which is never, because that DMV is super fast), maybe get a slice from this place to hold you over, but that's about it. If you like Dominoes, this pizza is mediocre at best. If you're from NYC, you'll hate it. People who work there are nice, but the place is a bit skeevy.

Great food great service

We went to Pie in the Sky Pizza tonight on the drive home from Charlotte and loved it. Great little local business in downtown Mooresville.

all i did was pick up a salad ...I actually only asked for extra turkey.... so I ended up with a "double" salad and was charged for i guess a larger salad.... The salad still didnt cover the box .. I decided not to complain because it just wasnt that serious to get bent out of shape over however it was $8.34... Feeling that was too much for what I got i went on about the rest of my day.... You can imagine my surprise when my receipt comes via email and it is showing an added tip....Lisyen that was wrong...I didnt leave a tip...The lady that waited on me was not at all friendly and the whole salad fiasco was not enough to make me reward this restaurant.... Neeedless to say i will not be back after this. . This was unacceptable on so many levels....

I normally never give bad reviews but when I walked in I saw a old slice of pizza on the counter and I was hoping the guy would give me a fresh slice. I saw that the slice was gone after I got my drink so I asked him if he used that one and he told me yes and it was sitting there for 30 minutes. I'm guessing it was longer by the way it looked. I hope my daughter doesn't get sick.

Love this pizza!!! Have been eating here for 30 years!! We usually do take out but the service inside is great. I can honestly say that I have never had a complaint about our food here. They are consistent. Highly Recommend!

I ordered delivery. We are new to the area and usually order papa johns. They arrived about 10 minutes after the delivery time given but the food is delicious. We will definitely be ordering from pie in the sky instead of papa johns from now on.

My husband and I have enjoyed dinner at least once a week at pie in the sky for 15 years. Best pizza in town. Meatball sub is the best I have ever had. Oh Tuesday they have homemade lasagna. Got to try that one! The staff is like family. Always a smile and great service. Blake usually makes my pizza and it's perfect every time.

Great oldschool authentic pizza joint in the center of town. Perfect personal sized pies. I did the 10" with three toppings and a drink for $15. Next time I'll go after work and enjoy a cold beer with my pizza.

After reading the reviews, I really wanted to like this place. So far, we haven't found too many places that we like since moving from New York. There is one place that we really like but we wanted to add another one to the mix. Unfortunately, that will not be pie-in-the-sky. We just spent $31 and threw away all the food that we got. It just wasn't good. I typically only leave reviews when I am very happy with service or food. However, this is not the case with this order. I really didn't care for the food, nor did anyone in my family. Unfortunately, we just wasted a lot of money on a meal that we didn't eat. 😕

Pie in the sky holds a special place in my heart that is full of childhood memories! If you are looking for a hometown pizza diner with some amazing food then this is your place! I have been going to this pizza place for about 25 years and it has definitely been around for longer than that!

Pizza I ordered was great ! However when I arrived I showed up 10 min. Early the guy who waited on me gave me attitude and said my order was not ready I didn't appreciate his attitude the way he said it. The girl behind the counter was very nice. However the two guys behind the counter were not very friendly. They looked at me and gave me a a dirty look not sure why . They could use a friendlier staff.

The owners are great.This place is a hidden gem in Mooresville. They make a solid pie. Seriously, this is pizza! The Stomboli is massive and packed full of goodness. I recommend Pie in the Sky highly.

I purchased a large all meat pizza on April 23 at 8:30 pm when we began to eat the pizza we noticed that the entire bottom of the pizza was burnt. I called the next day to let them know my pizza was burnt, and I got a response of Oh okay and then total silence on the phone. I responded I just wanted to let you know that we had to throw the pizza away, then I was asked did I want then to replace it. Whatever happened to I'm sorry to hear that and we will be more than happy to replaces it. I will never order from there again, and I will let all of my co-workers, friends and family not to order from there either. Horrible service.

Great pizza and subs, just got a roast beef sub from here when I'd usually go to subway or jersey Mike's but I wanted to support small business and I'm glad I did, same price but much better. Also, pick up was a breeze.

If i could give this place a 0 for stars i would. This is the worst pizza i have ever had. I wouldnt even feed it to a starving dog. The pizza was not crispy at all. We also ordered boneless wings and they were chicken nuggets taste like they had been in the back of the freezer forever. Would not recommend this place ever. Large pizza and the things they call wings 31 dollars. The only up side is that the manager was willing to give the money back.

Great place for quick luncheon. Pizza by slice , sub's and salad. Meatballs sub is a meal in itself.

I've been enjoying Pie In The Sky for over 20 years. Continually the best pizza in Mooresville. The family business atmosphere is something you just can't get at other places. Those things keep me coming back. And if you have not tried their Tuesday Lunch Lazana special....you are truly missing a wonderful experience.

Best pizza in the Carolinas. Very consistent, very thin, hand tossed. Reminds me of a classic NYC pie.

I have been eating Pie in The Sky pizza for over 30 years. This place never disappoints and I consider it the best pizza but what does a southern guy know about pizza. This is hands down the best pizza. They also have great subs and salads

The absolute best pizza and salads ever. I now live in Houston but never pass this place when I am in town.

First and foremost the service was outstanding, the pizza was delicious and it was not drowned in tomatoe sauce. Really great!!
